| A-Ok Starter Plugs are designed for starting seeds and rooting of cuttings (clones) prior to plugging into the larger Gro-Blocks. 1.5” size fits the holes in the blocks. They work perfectly in the white Grodan Starter Tray (found on back page). A-Ok plugs come in a sheet that fits a standard 10x20 tray (flat). The sheets come shrink-wrapped and labeled with instructions. Starter Mini-Blocks are also used for seeds and cuttings. The advantage over A-Ok plugs and Macroplugs is that the Mini-blocks can sit in a tray (flat) without support. They are also individually wrapped in white plastic to minimize algae growth. Seedlings can be transplanted into any loose media such as Growcubes or CocoCan™ Gro-Mix. Or leave wrapping on and set on top of a larger Gro-block. Mini-blocks are popular for production of aquatic plants. They are packed in easy tear away strips, labeled with instructions. Macroplugs are designed for cuttings. The round plug has a slit that allows easy insertion of a cutting. They fit perfectly into the Gro-Block hole and the Grodan Starter Tray. The Macroplugs come in a bag labeled with instructions. |
